CHARLOTTE CROFT Amanda Waslyk

Charlotte was born in Wrexham, North Wales. She trained at The Oxford School of Drama and graduated in 2011. Whilst training her credits include; Susan in PLENTY, Melinda in THE RECRUITING OFFICER, Moth in LOVE LABOUR’S LOST and Bea in DUSK, written and directed by Matt Harley. She recently appeared in HOLBY CITY for the BBC and has just finished filming a Music Video with Left Eye Blind Productions for Paul Thomas Saunders. Charlotte is excited to be in Germany and happy to making her professional stage debut for the English Theatre of Hamburg.
RICHARD MARK Randolph

Richard trained at Drama Studio London, prior to which he read Music at Bristol University. Previous theatre work includes: EDWARD II (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester), THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS (York Theatre Royal), Spike Milligan's ADOLF HITLER: MY PART IN HIS DOWNFALL (Bristol Old Vic/U.K Tour), THE RESISTIBLE RISE OF ARTURO UI (Watford Palace Theatre), ROUGH MUSIC (King's Head Theatre), THE HIGH COST OF LIVING (Theatre 503), MEASURE FOR MEASURE (Bridewell Theatre), A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Shaw Theatre) and MACBETH (Oxford Shakespeare Company).
PAULA BACON Miriam Waslyk

Paula trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Her theatre credits include Velvet in the original cast of Ben Elton’s POPCORN at The Apollo Theatre in London’s West End; and Lilly in the award winning UK tour of JUNK with the Oxford Stage Company. Her extensive television credits include DOCTORS (BBC), A & E (Granada), TRACEY BEAKER (BBC), WHERE THE HEART IS (Anglia Television), BAD GIRLS III (Shed Productions), LONDON'S BURNING (LWT), HEARTBEAT (Yorkshire Television), SMALL POTATOES (Hat Trick Productions), SEX AND DEATH (Hat Trick Productions), DR WILLOUGHBY (Witzend), THE LISTENER (MK Productions), PSYCHOS (Channel 4), CASUALTY (BBC), INSIDERS (BBC), LIFE AFTER BIRTH (Tiger Aspect Productions), THE NEW ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD (Warner Bros TV), THE KNOCK (LWT), THE BILL (Thames Television) and Television Movie THE RING (BBC). Feature film credits include FOOD OF LOVE, (Intrinsica Films) and CRIMETIME (Focus Films). Paula is delighted to be performing at The English Theatre of Hamburg.
JONATHAN MAGNANTI Warren Zimmerman

Born and raised in Leeds in the north of England it was an inspirational drama teacher at school that first got Jonny interested in acting, which he followed up by studying for both ‘O’ and ‘A’ level in Theatre studies and performing plays at Park Lane Further Education college, Leeds. Jonny moved to London in 1984 to attend Drama School. An actor since 1987 Jonny has appeared in numerous television productions. Performances he has really enjoyed though have been in THE BILL (Four times), CASUALTY (Twice), A GUILTY THING SURPRISED (Special because it was his first ever job as a professional actor). THE CHIEF, HEARTBEAT, FINNY, CARDIAC ARREST, DALZIEL and PASCOE, BUGS, DREAM TEAM, CORONATION STREET, DINNER LADIES, THE ROYAL and BLUE MURDER. His favourite jobs in Theatre have been THE UNEXPECTED GUEST (His first theatre job) at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, THE ROY ORBISON STORY, tour and west end, David Storey’s THE CHANGING ROOM, Duke of Yorks theatre West End, BOUNCERS for two consecutive years at the Harrogate theatre and of course ABSENT FRIENDS here in Hamburg. Jonathan’s film credits include, KING GIRL, APOCALYPSE WATCH and THE DEATHS OF IAN STONE. You will have heard Jonathan’s dulcet tones in many TV and radio voiceovers and he has narrated documentaries for both the BBC and Discovery Channel. Jonathan lives in the countryside near Hastings on the S.E. coast of England with his young family, dogs, cats and chickens and has written four books and many scripts with an old pal from his Park Lane College days. Jonathan was last in Hamburg 17 years ago when he played Paul in The English Theatre’s production of Alan Ayckbourn’s ABSENT FRIENDS. He is delighted to be back once again in such a fantastic city.
