March 2007 Newsletter

Dear Email Friends,

The Directors of The English Theatre went to London recently to cast Gerald Moon's comedy-thriller CORPSE! which opens here on 23 April. They cast three of your favorites and a very promising newcomer. All four actors are pictured below.

Andrew Southern

Andrew will play the challenging roles of the twin brothers Evelyn and Rupert Farrant.

Hayward Morse

Hayward always makes us howl with laughter when he plays comedy. This time he is taking on the character of Major Powell. He is returning for the sixth time. You saw him last in Neil Simon's LONDON SUITE.

Zoë Ann Bown

Two years ago Zoë gave us a great deal of pleasure as Dee Jobson in Alan Ayckbourn's ROLEPLAY. We are glad to have her back to play the delightful Mrs McGee in CORPSE!

James Walmsley

James played the major role of Greg in SYLVIA, our first play of the current season. He is returning to do the smaller role of Hawkins which will give him the time to assist the director of the play, Robert Rumpf, and learn more about his new passion in the theatre: directing.

31st Season
(2006 / 2007)

Now playing until 14 April:
VISITING MR. GREEN by Jeff Baron

Lee Baxter and G. Philip Hope are pictured above on stage in the roles of Ross Gardiner and Mr. Green.
